Rotary Encoder with CAN Connectivity
The rotary encoder features 20 detents per revolution and includes optical feedback via a dual LED ring with a total of 60 RGB LEDs. It is equipped with at least one CAN input connector and one I/O pin. Optionally, a second connector is available, providing internally connected CAN and power lines for “daisy-chaining,” as well as a second I/O pin.
The I/O pin(s) can measure voltages from 0 to 10V and, when used as outputs, are capable of driving loads up to 1.2A. The outputs are short-circuit protected, while the inputs are overvoltage protected.
With a length of 76.5 mm, the rotary encoder’s connector type is fully compatible with our HexSwitch® Keypad.
